Forget about the Peranakan Museum. If you want something more hands on, head over here because not only you get to try Peranakan food, there is a secret museum upstairs that not many people know off. Replicates a traditional Peranakan house back in the day and the place is still run by the family!

Are you on the hunt for local snacks? This place is it. The truth is their ondeh-ondeh is not great, but they have killer dumplings. The shop lady may try to up-sell you into buying boxes of the mini dumplings, just go in knowing that you can buy everything in single units. Recommended: Nonya Dumplings - perfect for breakfast.
