A great little pub in the countryside - its a perfect stop when walking or cycling in the downs.

Beautiful pub frequently voted the best food in Kent. Have to book in advance. A really nice thing to do is go for a walk and end up there for lunch or dinner. It's about 20 minutes drive from here.

In Crundale just outside Ashford. Paul Hollywood loves their Sunday roast. Built in 1420. Inglenook fireplaces, hop hung beams. Use satnav as located in the downs! 01227 941806
