Beautiful ensemble of rose gardens during summer. Also a nice romantic spot for great pictures, tea & coffee or simply a 10 minute detour if you’re visiting Dom, to see a different perspective over Bamberg.

Its a well maintained park next to the cathedral and the state library. Its definitely worth a visit during the summer. The views offer an interesting perspective on the funky architecture of the old houses which seem to have been constructed in the oddest shapes possible. The scent of the flowers and the view of the St. Michaels Abbey provide a great feel for the town.

Wer nach dem Sightseeing im Bamberger Dom, der Residenz und der Altstadt eine Pause braucht, findet hier einen ruhigen Rosengarten mit Springbrunnen und sehr guter Gastronomie. Man kann hier die Seele baumeln lassen oder sich für weiteres Sightseeing stärken - mit Speisen vom Salat bis ordentlichem Essen oder Eis. Oder einem guten Kaffee oder Bier vom Fass.
