Experience this 5.1-mile out-and-back trail near Silverthorne, Colorado. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 27 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are April through September. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Connect to the Salt Lick trails by hiking downhill on the trails across the street or by driving or bussing to the trailhead.

This is the moderate hike to Lily pad lake, and is about 6.2 miles out and back. You can either go directly to the trailhead, or navigate from our trailhead across the parking lot. Highly suggest using AllTrails app!
