For great fish stews and stakes, I recommend this restaurant, with stunning views on Kalemegdan fortress (it is right across the river from it). In the evenings they have old bohemian live music.

Stara koliba is one of the best river spots in Belgrade, situated right at the bank of the Danube, very close to the confluence of two rivers. Good food in exceptional settings, 20 min walk from us.

A very nice place with a great view, and fresh fish from the river every day! Make sure to try the spicy fish soup - a Belgrade specialty! (It is on the coast side, not the island, like the map shows)

exactly at meeting point of Danube and Sava, with excellent view on Kalemegdan fortress...romantic.
