This is a fun place in downtown Traverse City. The food is Japanese-inspired: interesting and good.

It's "East meets Mid-West" at Gaijin! :) Serving Japanese comfort food for lunch and dinner, in a fun and casual environment. We recommend the bao, (steamed buns), you get 2 for $4 and they are yummy! Open 11am - 10pm, closed Monday.
