Kalimba Reptile Park is half an hour drive from Lusaka, perfect for a day excursion. The park is part of a working farm and is open 365 days a year. Specially trained guides are available to take you on informative tours. The scaly residents include giant Nile crocodiles, a large variety of indigenous snakes, tortoises and other reptiles. It is also one of the few places left in the world where you can see the rare and shy slender-nosed crocodile. You can sample the Kalimba speciality, Croc burgers! They say it tastes just like chicken! Other food is available and all the beef, pork and fish are farm-reared right next door. Ice creams soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available at reception.

Good place to visit with kids. It's a crocodile farm with a lot of different species of snakes, intriguing pythons and huge crocodiles. It has a swimming pool, play area for kids, and a fishing spot.
