The Abbey Meadow is a delightful park at the end of Abbey Close in Abingdon; the River Thames forms the southern boundary. The park has a large area for informal play, a new well-equipped play area, attractive riverside walks as well as public toilets, including a 'space for change' facility. In the summer, the outdoor swimming pool and interactive water feature for children - both newly refurbished.

Abingdon Abbey Gardens and Abbey Meadow form a beautiful and relaxing space by the river to stroll and enjoy the floral beds or the views across the water meadows and feed the ducks on the millstream.

This is a must go if you have children. It's right by the river, has a play park, splash park and an outdoor swimming pool (best to book the swimming pool in advance)
