La Gacilly is 35 mins away, a beautiful artisan town decorated with flowers. It is a haven for artists and craftsmen from glassblowing to wood carvers. Hire a river boat or visit the gorgeous shops.

The village is renowned for its arts and crafts. When you’ve checked out the botanical garden and tried some treatments in the spa, go walking with donkeys or rent a boat.

La Gacilly is very arts and crafts and is just wonderful, all kinds of shops, including glass, pottery and jewellery adorn the narrow streets, the children will love the toy shop. It holds France’s largest outside photography festival which takes place from June to September. Children can enjoy a donkey ride around the narrow streets, boats can be hired and there is plenty of bars/cafe and restaurants to unwind and refuel. It holds a market every Saturday morning. Approx 1h 30 mins.
