While Waterloo and Cedar Falls have a host of amazing restaurants, both local and chain, if you're wanting to pick up a few things and use the full size kitchen at Flamingo Cottage to cook a feast or a snack this full service grocery store will fill your needs.

Good grocery but Fareway is probably a lot better for the money but HyVee is bigger and has a great Wine & Spirits annex, as well as a restaurant/bar too.
