Tavern in the Gruene is an old time favorite for great drinks and music. It is mostly inhabited by locals, with the occasional tourist.

Located in a 1940’s era pole barn that originally was used to house sheep and hogs, Tavern in the Gruene is unique Texas hangout situated less than a mile from the Gruene Historic District right next to Gruene Homestead Inn. “The Tavern” is a Live music venue.
