This is a small locally owned restaurant on a cliff top overlooking weligama bay. It is about a 15 minute tuk tuk drive however well worth it in our experience. I'd highly recommend coming here early in the evening so you can experience the view and also before the rush so you can actually get a table! It is a tiny restaurant yet no1 on trip advisor in weligama so it gets extremely busy. Either book, or arrive at 4-5pm and enjoy the sunset. We can highly recommend Vegetable Pakoda for a starter, the chicken massaman, or the prwans as a main and definitely try his lime soda its to die for! They don't serve alcohol however you can bring your own which is good.

If you want to go local for a night, head to Tiki Bar for a sunset cocktail and walk across the street for a real rice and curry feast at Chef Akilas. Both places are locally owned and run, and perched on the cliff at Cape Weligama with beautiful ocean views. Make sure to book a table with Chef Akila at high season and warning for long waiting times for the food, ALWAYS.
