They were one of the first and still the best. Why? Because they teach classes on how to pull coffee Italian style. Theres a sit down location and a street cafe location, both on Broadway (Capitol Hill).
My absolute favorite coffee shop in the whole city. You must get their special - which is a shot with foam milk and orange zest.
Really fabulous coffee. Take a picture at Starbucks but drink coffee here. Across the street from REI.
Espresso Vivace: a legend. For decades they've consistently been one of the very best roasters and coffee shops in Seattle. Every drink here is great. For something unique, try the Cafe Nico espresso or a latte "Nico-style". It’s an 8-minute drive.

Large front windows open to bring the outside in. A little pricey but tasty coffee. Busy - 👤👤👤👤 Price - 💰💰💰💰
Best espresso in the city. You won’t find drip coffee in this shop. They do what they do and they do that very well.
Vivace's, where latte art was invented, has a sidewalk bar and a larger shop within a couple of blocks of each other on Broadway. The best coffee and people watching spot in the city.

“My favorite coffee spot. They offer great food, wine, beer, and of course delicious coffee and tea. Might be hard to notice, but it's actually a Starbucks Co. concept. ”

“Fun and experimental cuisine with East Asian (Indian) influences. Order a Thali and enjoy a 10-12 different tastings of dishes. From here, you can hit up a bar (before, after or both!) and enjoy Capitol Hill's nightlife.”
