This is a medium trial, it is the trial my work center uses for outings together during the summer. It has a water fall at the end that makes the hike well worth your time. The intial portion is steep and sandy, after word the forest is very calm and peaceful.

The trail begins with moderate switchbacks and beautiful overlooks of the valley before hikers reach the entrance to the canyon. This part of the trail is exposed with little shade. Once in the canyon, the route becomes shaded and undulates up and down along the creek with a couple of stream crossings, and a steady, moderate climb closer to the waterfall. The waterfall stands 40-foot tall at the end of the trail. There is a small pond in front of the waterfall to wade in. This is a great hike for all abilities with lots of points of interest for kids. This trail also accesses and connects with the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

ADAMS CANYON TRAIL – [2 miles to entrance] Great semi-challenging hike with a waterfall, streams to walk through, and beautiful views. To get there, ask Google to navigate to: Adams Canyon Lower Falls. Bring drinking water and good shoes for hiking. Can be popular on weekends. Great place to view the sunset. Don’t get caught after dark without a flashlight. (Think absolute darkness in the wilderness.) Plan around daylight. The waterfall is a great reward and the mist is refreshing!
