It's a 45min drive south, but if you want a wildlife park in North Queensland this is the place to go. With crocodiles, snakes, dingoes, koalas and many of the other essential Australian wildlife experiences Billabong Sanctuary is a full day out.

Billabong Sanctuary is home to a lovable cast of native Aussie animals. You'll find koalas, kangaroos, cassowaries, crocs, dingoes, wombats, and more here. Best of all, you can get up close with many of these animals, interact with them, and pose for photos.
