This is the ultimate walk. It is for people who are fit as it is quiet strenuous. But worth the effort. This is just one of many hiking trails around San Diego.

The hike to Potato Chip Rock is a 7.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail in Poway (suburb of San Diego). It is rated moderate. It features a lake, is accessible year-round and dogs are allowed but must be on leash. It's popular for photo ops on the unique "potato chip" rock formation for which it's named and beautiful the views of the Pacific Ocean.
