Pamukkale is the most famous place in Denizli. The ancient theater will take you past. We recommend swimming in the cleopatra pool. It's a very different feeling. You are swimming between hot water and history.
Pammukale has, by all accounts, true scenic beauty as well as boasting roman ruins close by. It remains on my list of things to do, and as I have yet to make it there, I can't give it my full recommendation! This is very much a day trip as it is a little further afield than Ephesus. Again, any tour…
Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals.
Another fantastic location to visit while you are in the area. Pamukkale means "cotton castle" and is a series of travertines or terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water.
Well worth a visit to see the "cotton castle" Buses go to Denizli from Bodrum daily. It is recommended to drive as the roads are good and well sign posted. Journey time is approx. 41/2 hrs
