Conseils des habitants
The top of Central Park is picturesque and calming. There's also a nice playground for kiddos.
This part of the park is beautiful. You can go fishing, or swimming in the nearby pool (ice skating in winter) and there is a HUGE playground at the north-end.

“A local institution. Grab coffee and breakfast in the AM (don't even think about giving money to Starbucks on the corner) and then come back for a glass of wine and a soccer game later on.”

“A skating rink in winter and swimming pool in summer. It may not have Wollman Rink's views, but the prices are much nicer. Enter Central Park from Lenox/Malcolm X or ACP and you'll see it ahead.”
