À propos de cet endroit
This trail follows sandy stretches between the elevated heights of Great Island and Great Beach Hill. Its higher elevations punctuate spectacular vistas which emerge from an even-aged, pitch-pine forest. Part of this trail leads to a colonial-era tavern site (no remains visible).

Looking for a wonderful hike. Bring water. Secluded beaches. Extends 4 miles out across the bay. One of the cape's top-rated hikes.

Between 3.9 and 8.8 miles, this is considered the Cape's most challenging trail. It winds through forests, marshes, over dunes, past beaches. Be sure to check the tides before you go or you may end up stranded on the island!

This is our favorite hike! It’s beautiful, make sure to take the high trail above the dunes. Give about 2-3 hours for the full hike

Beautiful trail with tons of water views that ends in a beach in Wellfleet. Best for kids over 10.

Great walk along the bay side beach at low tide.... shells, solitude, and great sunsets!

“They give great tours of the town. (My mom used to be a tour guide and her note cards are still in the desk at the cottage). Good activity for a cloudy day.”
