It is an easy walk from Aro Street, down Willis Street and into Lambton Quay to the cable car. Take a ride up to the top, and then walk back down to the city through the Botanical Gardens which are beautiful.
Take a ride up Wellington's iconic cable car for a great view over the city and harbour, plus it is a sheltered ride from the wind! The last stop is the Wellington Botanic Gardens, a great place to take a walk back down to the city if you enjoy nature.

“Well worth a visit to see the multi-media exhibition which tells the story of the Treaty of Waitangi - New Zealand's founding document. There is an excellent cafe (HOME) in the National library and a co-working space, with printers, should you need to do some work.”
