Excellent dinners are served select nights in the lodge, and a fun community event is taco night is Tuesdays with live music.

Awesome nordic ski trail network that connects to Craftsbury nordic trails via the Highland Lodge trail. For easy access to the trails, park at the Town Hall at the bottom of Baker Hill Rd. In the summer, take a hike up the Mossy trail which begins behind Highland Lodge and connects up to the Barr Hill Trails.

Such a great spot! Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, their kitchen and bar is open to everyone. Gorgeous view of Caspian Lake with a large porch to sit on and relax. Also, super fun games and ping pong in the back room!

Check website because dining options change throughout the year with more options available in summer and in ski season. Great cozy bar and good dining in a historic inn. Also fun taco nights! The cross country ski trails stretch from the Craftsbury Outdoor Center to the Highland Lodge and then a bunch more trails branch off from the Hi Lo. You can park at the lodge and ski from there. Or you can ski to the HiLo, have a drink or a meal (if open) and then ski back.
