A Brooklyn classic, the definition of IDIOSYNCRATIC...this old-school "red sauce" my-way-or-the-highway Italian place is worth a visit. It's cash only, a wait, closes at 10p...Who cares? It's delish!

Great old neighborhood style family owned Italian. Some of the best brick oven pizza in Brooklyn. And even better - the decor hasn't changed in years!

If you're not familiar with American "Soul Food" or even if you are=definitely a must! People come from all over NY and places beyond to try their chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens etc.

When you walk into Sam's it's like you've stepped back in time to the days of Goodfellas. Classic homestyle Italian at great prices. Check out the old pictures on the walls to see some great history.
