This is our "local": a real pub where people go to talk to one another instead of watching TV! Expect to bump into cast and crew of the many TV shows and films made here. Expect the best pint of Guinness you'll ever taste.

Established 1857 and otherwise known as Ned's bar, this iconic Holywood tavern has long been serving up the perfect pint of Guinness. Take a seat sit in the lounge with its formica tables, the staff will take your order and bring your pint to you. The Guinness is poured to creamy perfection and there is an eclectic range of whiskey on sale. The only food on sale is Northern Ireland's famous Tayto crisps - the emphasis being on quality drink and relaxed conversation.

The Maypole Bar is called "Neds" by the locals. With a sign inside that says "in the name of drinking and good conversation, mobile phones should be used outside" this pub is all about the craic and the Guinness! Old and unchanged for many years, it is always filled with regulars and welcoming to anyone who wants to try a pint of the black stuff the way its meant to be enjoyed. Personally I think its the best Guinness in the north of Ireland! Maeve and I love to go for a drink there before dinner at the weekends.

Holywoods "Iconic" drinking mans pub ! Don't be afraid to enter as all classes & sexes are catered for and after a few pints of the black stuff or vodka & coke it won't matter anyway !! Its been the same since pussy was a kitten.... Always full of craic and chat, busiest at the weekends....
