The castle is a masterpiece of architecture. The collection of paintings inside is impressive. Worth it if you are a fan of art museums.

“Beautiful gothic piece of architecture, standing tall right in the heart of the city! ( if you are lucky they will let you climb in the tower for a view)”

“Tiny, charming museum, based on an actual 19th century pharmacy. Right across the street from the Museum of Art. Ancient therapies with gold, silver or lead are presented along with the apothecary utensils. Personal favorite. A student superstition says you should avoid passing under the double arch at the entrance if you want to pass your exams. Beware the bogus magic!”

“With a history of more than 80 years, the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania is one of the first and greatest of its kind in Romania. It has two exhibition sections, one of which is to be found in downtown Reduta Palace (21, Memorandumului Street), while the other exhibition section is the open-air Romulus Vuia Park situated on the city's north-west side, in Hoia Forest. The museum has a collection of more than 50,000 objects reflecting the occupations, the habits and the life style of the Transylvanian rural population. Part of this collection is to be found in the Reduta Palace while the rest of the objects are in the open-air section.”
