Panoramic views of Chattanooga and Lookout Valley way above the treetops. The hike is strenuous from Skyuka Springs Trailhead otherwise you can drive to the top and access from the top of Lookout Mountain.

A 1/8-mile hike (down & up a rough stone staircase) and wonderful overlook of Lookout Valley where the sun sets. The parking area is limited, so you might expect to walk another 1/8 mile in order to park a block or two away.

A short hike with beautiful views!! For a longer hike, you can connect to the Bluff Trail and take that all the way to Point Park. The parking area is small, so it can be difficult to find a spot during peak tourist times.

Incredible views overlooking Chattanooga, but parking is very limited during the weekend sunset hours.

This is a favorite hiking spot right in Chattanooga, on Lookout Mountain. There are a LOT of good hiking and biking trails in the area, and I'm happy to tell you more. We have the best guide book there is.

“The beautiful Cumberland Trail begins at Signal Point Park, part of the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. From the overlook, the trail descends into Middle Creek Gorge and along Rainbow Lake before entering Prentice Cooper State Forest. The trail ascends out of the gorge to then follow the plateau rim, affording multiple overlooks of the Tennessee River Gorge before dropping into the North Suck Creek Gorge, and crossing the creek on a suspension bridge, and eventually emerges on Suck Creek Road (TN 27). Highlights include Signal Point; an overlook of wet-weather waterfall; Lockhart’s Arch & other rock formations; & Edwards Point with it's spectacular view of the TN River!”
