More popular creamery so tends to be busier than Misty Mountain. You can watch the cows being milked at 1:30 right outside the ice-cream shop and petting the calves makes the trip extra special.

South Mountain Creamery started as a small dairy farm and has expanded to a larger scale milk and dairy product production business. The deliver their products as far as Washington and Baltimore in old fashioned glass bottles. They have learning tours for the children and a full dairy product store, featuring cheeses and ice cream.
