Conseils des habitants
Stay in Killarney and take a day trip to the island. On the way back stop at Port Magee and take a boat ride to Skellig Michael.
When doing the Ring Of Kerry don't miss out on Valentia Island and Balinaskelligs, known as the mini Ring locally.
Valentia Island is only a ferry ride away and is renowned for its tropical vegetation, scuba diving, slate quarry and water sports.
