Historic Home and Frank Lloyd Wright architecture on the same property. Two tours in one. Love it!

If you're a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright....this is worth the visit...about 15-20 minute drive down the George Washington Parkway and out to Rt. 1.

“Gunston Hall Plantation was the home of George Mason, a senior statesman and author of Virginia's Declaration of Rights. I toured Gunston Hall on a beautiful fall day and had a wonderful time. I was the only person there for an afternoon tour, so I got a private tour. The guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. In addition to the main house (much of which was original), there were many outbuildings on the grounds which were fun to explore.”

“If you like a ball game, this is a nice place to visit - a fun night without spending a fortune! Easy in and out. Nice seats. Plenty to eat including Crackerjacks. Fun way to introduce children to organized ball. This Potomac Nationals’ Park reminds me of minor league ball stadiums from my childhood, except this one isn’t as well maintained.”

History Museum
“It is small but packed with information. Displayed everyday items from the area and era. Docent was welcoming and helpful. Quite a collection of stuff about the town of Occoquan, and some real oddities. Take you about 5 - 15 minutes, so you can combine this visit with the newly opened park next door or with some shopping.”
