Great place to hike located along the cape fear river. Kayaks and paddleboards available to rent. Miles of trails and a great place to bring dogs.

Large park. Multiple hiking trails. We have not been here yet, but we have heard great things. Apparently, it is one of the only areas in the entire world where you can see Venus fly traps native.

Gorgeous trails, camping, kayak rentals, hiking. A great spot for lots of exploring the outdoors.

There are miles and miles of trails that are flat & beautiful! Most of the loops are very easy & don't miss the Flytrap trail for the cool carnivorous plants!

As a result of this natural setting, birdwatchers and nature fans will be in heaven strolling through along the 8.4 mile long shoreline, and will find abundant wildlife as well as flora and fauna around every scenic turn. ”
