Lovely hike to a pretty waterfall. This hike is only half mile round trip so perfect for small children or anyone who doesn’t want to walk for hours.

“Great museum to learn a lot about Tillamook's past and how it came to be as well as artifacts that date back to the 1800's!! It is also surrounded by a handful of restaurant's and a few cafe's plus a bakery! ”

“Wonderful hike along the bay for all ages. Pets welcome. Great place to bird watch or take one of the trails over the dunes to the ocean. It’s almost a 10 mile round trip hike all the way to the point of the jetty where you’ll view the town of Garibaldi across the bay. This hike is great for a short or long trip as there’s beautiful scenery all along it. Watch for blue Herons, White Egrets, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Geese and Ducks, Sand Pipers, Elk, Deer, Coyotes and the occasional Raccoon. ”

“This is recommended only for those who will be coming to or from the cabin on Highway 6 as it would be a long drive for anyone else. This is an excellent interpretive center exploring the Tillamook forest, its ecology, and its history. Don't miss out on the 15 minute movie the plays every half hour. It explains the Tillamook Burn in fascinating detail. There are lots of great exhibits for the kids and some walking trails along Wilson River just outside the building. Allow 2+ hours.”
