Fabulous place for a walk around the castle & gardens. Families will enjoy the open spaces and wonderful play area with a mini Lowther castle for the children to explore! Lots of space, with awesome photo opportunities in and around the ruins of the castle. They also run events year round,…

“Spectacular views, excellent food and service. Highly recommend three course 'Sharrow Through the Ages' lunch at £22.50p. Evening menu expensive but for a 'one off' treat for a very special occasion - this is the place! You need to book.”

Parc
“Just near where the Windermere ferry docks on the west bank. It is an old Victorian viewing station which has been hidden by trees for years and recently uncovered and restored. Free to visit, views are worth the walk up and there is a nice cafe at the bottom”
