Bobby was a wee terrier that famously sat by his beloved master's graveside every day until he died. There is a beautiful memorial to Bobby at the top of our street

Right opposite the National Museum, a legend surrounds this small cemetery in the heart of Edinburgh. Watch out for the small statue on the corner of George the IV bridge and Candlemaker Row. This is where the legend starts.

The statue of Greyfriars Bobby the wee loyal dog, he is buried in the nearby Greyfrairs Kirk, which also contains some amazing 16th/17th century carved gravestones and tombs in this city graveyard. Good views over the city as too.
