Great views of the Gulf of Mexico. You can also hike, bike, or kayak through the park. It is really big, with many options to choose from. You get a serene feeling here. This park is awesome. Walking along the preserve paths you may see some historic home sites that were inhabited from the end…

Where the Manatee River meets the Gulf of Mexico, the Emerson Point Preserve protects one of the oldest temple mounds in Florida. Numerous trails and an observation tower offer great views of a wide variety of coastal Florida habitats, as well as, ancient and historic remains.
