Lovely gardens with a collection of plants from all over the world. Don't miss the cycads and the orchid collection. You often see pelicans in the lake and its a peaceful safe place to have a picnic or stop in for a snack at the tea garden. Free entrance.

This is where you can enjoy a lovely picnic, see nature in the middle of a busy city, and if you're lucky there is a concert in the park when you're here!

A beautiful place to visit all year round, but especially during December when the Festival of Lights make it even more spectacular. Look out for special events such as the Durban Philharmonic Orchestra that performs in the gardens from time to time.
