“If you ever watch the best places to eat in the country on public TV, they always mention Primanti Brothers. It is a must stop for lunch if you have time as the sandwiches are very unique. Bring your appetite. The servings are huge. ”

“The Heinz Memorial Chapel began as a gift. Henry John Heinz, the founder of the H.J. Heinz Company, wanted to honor his mother, Anna Margaretta Heinz, with “a building” at the University. When the cornerstone of the chapel was laid in 1934, University Chancellor John Bowman said, “The Chapel is designed as a fitting center for worship which in various ways will rise at the University. The character, intensity, the level of that worship may change from generation to generation. The spiritual tide in men rises and falls. Through these changes, though, the Chapel will stand, calm and undisturbed.””

“This local gem of a dive bar is cash only, and smoker friendly. You can still smoke in bars in Pittsburgh so prepare yourself! The have the best wings and juke box in town, ping pong, pool tables live music and surly bartenders.”
