Dinky house and gardens dating back to the early Tudor period but in use as a family home until the 1970s. You can try on armour and period clothing, play Elizabethan garden games and rummage around the second hand bookshop. Small but cute.

“One of Rick Stein’s restaurants located up a winding characterful street. Simple sophisticated décor compliments their food – choose from 28 day dry-aged aged Chateaubriand or Devon Ruby Red steaks – something from the grill is a must when you visit St Petroc's Bistro. Enjoy drinks beforehand in the cosy snug bar. Booking ahead is necessary. ”

“The harbour built in 1439, is one of Newquay’s most picturesque locations and even has its own small beach to relax on. With a restaurant by the beach, and several other restaurants and pubs overlooking it, you can enjoy a drink or meal whilst taking in those views. Nothing feels quite so traditionally Cornish and relaxing as watching the fishing boats coming home with those spectacular sea and beach views in the background.”
