A royal palace with 60 acres of magnificent gardens. Explore Hampton Court by pre-booking tickets online. Not far from the palace is Kingston, a town full of history and culture. Park in the city centre then go for a walk along the River Thames.
A must for all visitors. Historical Royal Palace of interest. Easily reached by train from my location. Holds famous Flower Show first week of July each year and many musical events too. Food festivals during the year.
Dependig on traffic this is around 45 minutes drive. If you love history particularly the Tudours this has got to be a must see place to go to. Make a day of it and take a picnic enjoy tge maze and wonderful gardens.

“Chessington is around 35 to 40 min by car. It is a great family fun day out with lots of rides for all ages. Recommend taking picnic lunch. Make sure you arrive as soon as the park opens so you can get round all the rides and attractions ”
