One of my favorite places for breakfast. Indoor and outdoor seating (with shade) and a menu of local ingredients and plastic-free dining.

Salon de thé
“Kombucha on tap, raw desserts, all around good food. This is a bar? (lol) Yes, the kind of bar I go to in my dreams. Sometimes they have live music in the evening, and everyone sits around eating good food, drinking Kombucha and socializing. Brilliant! ”

Grocery or Supermarket
“Great neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of Haiku! Find many items that you may need. Try their Poke' Bowl! It's a three minutes drive from our cottage or studio. Also walkable!”

Point of Interest
“It's free, but donations are welcome to the farm. We stop and buy fresh fruit, macadamia nut king Kamehameha bar or a coconut. The walking paths are flat and wide through clumps of bamboo and other beautiful foliage. Two smaller falls within 1/8-1/4 mile are close to the entrance. Keep walking back ~1/2 mile and then you cross a small stream (<4" deep and 8' wide), walk along a 12' brick wall and cross smaller stream and you will be at a larger falls with a nice-sized natural pool. It gets a lot of visitors, but it seems to be flushed by the mountain runoff so it should be okay to swim in, I guess. My husband did it and said it was refreshing. Hiking begins at this point and we recommend a guide, gps, compass and day pack at this point to avoid getting lost in the woods or stranded somewhere. Hikes after this point are hard to find and are muddy so you will usually come back muddy. We walked back to two additional falls upstream of the large pool but saw two groups with guides during our hike. We had to make our own trail in places, several routes. Streams above are much deeper and more powerful, difficult to cross in places.”
