A house museum with a lovely garden and scenic view to the river. It’s great to visit when going to Palacio de Cristal as it’s just by its west side. The combo also includes the gardens of casa Tait.

“The Guerra Junqueiro House-Museum, or Casa do Dr. Domingos Barbosa is a cultural center built in memory of the famous poet and writer Guerra Junqueiro, located in Porto, Portugal. Born in 1850, in Freixo de Espada to Cinta Abílio Manuel Guerra Junqueiro, he published his first verses at age 14, running the year 1864. He died in 1923 with the dream of a house where he could expose all the objects he collected along the its existence and a wonderful literary estate.
