“Hardcastle Craggs is the local National Trust park. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Hebden. It’s an amazing place that they call ‘Little Switzerland’, there is also food and drink available in the converted mill. ”

“Now this is a little unusual! Gaddings Dam is famous for being the highest beach in the British Isle. It’s used on a regular basis for deck chairs and swimming. I kid you not! Buckets and spades not compulsory! It’s worth a visit, just to send a photo of you relaxing on the beach to friends and family. Again it only a stones throw away from the Shepherds Rest if you know what I mean!”
