Pourquoi les gens du coin les recommandent
The square where it’s located—Sant Agustí Vell—is so charming, you’ll just fall in love with the bar! They have kept the soul of the space so it still looks like an old-fashioned Catalan bar. You can’t help but love this kind of authentic place—made by locals for locals. You’ll find good food and friendly people here. Seasonal tapas include calçots, white and sweet onions dipped in romesco sauce. Go there with friends and order a caña—draft beer—and some tapas. If you decide to go there on your own, just order a coffee while you read the daily newspaper on the terrace.

Nice to have a "menu del migdia" lunch menu on the terrace. The plaza is beautiful. One of Barcelona's oldest new restaurants.
