Kohitere Trig track is a steep incline. Access from Queen street East. The view extends across the town, including Lake Horowhenua, Hokio and Waiterere Beach.

If you want a quick work out amongst nature then you can't beat the Trig walk. Very popular with locals for walking, running, mountain biking. Approx 45mins (average fitness level) uphill to the top. Spectacular views over Levin and Tararua ranges a further 5mins along the top.

Trig is the best downhill mountain biking spot in Levin so isn’t to be missed if you want to get some downhill thrills! Enjoy several intermediate to advanced mountain bike tracks through exotic forest. Alternatively, walk from the car park for about 30 minutes to the top of the trig where you’ll be rewarded with fantastic views
