Santa Monica Pier, with its iconic Ferris wheel, are what most tourists come to enjoy in Santa Monica, but you can find a variety of experiences in this beachfront city next to LA.
The beach and famous Santa Monica Pier are a must-see. The nightlife is great as well, with drink and food specials going on all the time.
Family favorite of ours, to walk around, rent bikes to ride for a few hours, or just go for dinner.

Wooden wharf with eateries, shops, high-tech arcade, roller coaster, giant Ferris wheel, other rides & famous 1922 indoor merry-go-round. Fantastic view of the bay and the mountains.
Only a 25 minute drive away is Santa Monica Pier, buzzing tourist attraction.
The second best reason to come to Los Angeles. You will find everything only 6 miles away.

Take a day trip to Santa Monica (10-15 miles away) to enjoy the beach, restaurants, and pier. The pier has games, performers, rides, and beautiful views.
Okay, so it’s kinda far... but you can get there on the Metro and if you’ve got the time you should go check out Santa Monica (the beach and the pier).
A 48 minute ride and you're at the beach! if you have bikes, there is a bike path, also bike rentals. walk onto the pier with amusement park, food and more, or just play on the beach. Public parking is on the pier or beside the pier.
