Caffee Driade is an award-winning, independently-owned espresso bar, Wine bar, and Teahouse. Tucked in among the trees on East Franklin St this hidden gem is a must go place when visiting Chapel Hill. Thoughtfully sourced beer & wine, fresh juice, and a delicious selections of baked goods. There is also live music on the weekend.

Cafe Driade is tucked back off the road. While they have indoor seating most enjoy the outside wooded vistas. Gwen loves the hot chocolate. I personally like the coffee milk shake.

They have excellent outdoor seating in a serene setting. They offer coffee, beer, gluten-free cupcakes, treats, bagels, and hot chocolate and other noncaffeinated beverages. Oh, and it's in walking distance.
