Across the river from Avignon, which of course is much better known and draws the crowds which means this town is much quieter than it would otherwise be. There is plenty to occupy you for a day's sightseeing.We love the tranquil gardens of L'abbaye Saint-Andre with its views across to Avignon, also the imposing Fort Saint-Andre and the Chartreuse.
