The baked goods from this bakery will change your life. Excellent spot for picking up sweets or sandwiches for a picnic in Volunteer Park. Be prepared to wait in line on the weekend.
Twice baked almond or chocolate croissants yum! Their quiche is light and creamy. Savory Croque and pizza slices are great. Beautiful bread loaves and sandwiches options for your picnic. And if you're a fan of macarons this is worth checking out.
Amazing French style pastries and sandwiches. Great to eat there or bring home or to the park for a special dessert.
One of the best bakeries in Seattle (or anywhere :) - hands down!! Lucky for you, this place is within walking distance. Make sure you have breakfast or lunch here at least once during your visit. It will not disappoint!

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Seattle--but note that their wifi isn't great (for when we can go to coffee shops again).”

“Lively, casual and hip restaurant with a great burger (order it medium), big salads and comfort food. Fun place to hang out with a very Seattle vibe. ”

“Great panoramic view of Capitol hill and surrounding countryside. Check out the red brick Water Tower that was built in 1906 as part of the Olmstead Exhibition. As it commands the highest view on Capitol Hill, at 444.5 feet (135.5 m) above sea level. Climb to the top and get a 360 degree view of downtown Seattle, Lake Washington, Mount Rainier (on a clear day), and the Space Needle. The water tower has no charge to enter, but does have 106 metal stairs to climb to the top, and can be slippery on a wet day. Once at the top and after catching your breath, walk all the way round the tower, and check out the explanation boards, on the walls full of local facts.”
