This my favorite hike. It takes you from the college up the front side of the foothills to one of the most breathtaking views of santa fe. About 6 miles round trip and pretty steep at the top.

Atalaya Mountain Trail is a 5.8 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Santa Fe, New Mexico that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
