Fine Dining and Wine - it is next to Port Townsend's Historic Fountain.

This place has a new owner now, and we have not eaten there since the change of owners. We have heard mixed things, although nothing horrible. The menu leans a little more towards steaks now. The cocktail lounge and wine bar (connected but also with a separate entrance next door) is a great place to unwind and enjoy some small plates. The bar has an excellent atmosphere, and the selection of wines by the bottle is great. There is patio seating. Reservations recommended during summer, especially on Friday and Saturday. Open 4-9. Closed Tuesdays.

Alchemy is casual fine dining at it's best. Consistently excellent quality with a great atmosphere and an attached lively bar.
