The Waterwall is the perfect place to cool on a hot day! From the mist to the soothing sound of the water fall, you can’t go wrong! The water wall is in a beautiful park filled with a large area of lush, green grass, in front of a mammoth sculptural fountain. There are also benches along the walkway for you to relax. I guarantee you will be in awe!

Houston’s most photographed site, this dramatic 64-foot U-shaped fountain has water rushing down its inside and outside walls. Designed and created in 1985 by the internationally acclaimed architectural team of Philip Johnson and John Burgee, the Water Wall pumps 78,500 gallons of recycled water every three hours and 20 minutes. More than 180 live oaks shade the three-acre area that plays host to families and couples out for a stroll, picnic, or even a game of Frisbee.

Designed by architect Philip Johnson more than 20 years ago, the Galleria-area Water Wall offers a refreshing moment of Zen for visitors. The 64-foot-tall fountain – built to look like a "horseshoe of running water” – sits among 186 oak trees at the base of the 64-story Williams Tower. It is a popular location for lovers to snap that perfect Instagram photo.
