LP on Main (formerly Louisian Purchase) Serving Cajun, Creole, Seafood and American cuisine in a great atmosphere. Located on Main Street in Banner Elk. Sit outside in nice weather and watch folks walk by.

Louisiana Purchase (LP) on Main offers fine dining in an upscale, yet casual atmosphere. Since 1984, the restaurant has been one of the most popular in the NC High Country. The menu features both traditional selections and seasonal offerings - including favorites such as BBQ shrimp, bison meatloaf with smoked cheddar mac n’ cheese, tartare black angus beef, crab cakes, Scottish salmon and fried oysters. Their extensive wine list has also received Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for several years running. Reservations preferred.
